Xerox Alumni Association was originally founded as the Xerox-X Association in 1983. It is a non-profit organization of former Xerox employees who missed the camaraderie, intellectual stimulation and friendship that the community of Xerox offered.

The founders of Xerox-X Association believed that they worked at a special company and that they contributed to creating one of America's greatest business success stories.

It was a work climate that teemed with bright, energetic people who inspired each other to perform beyond what seemed possible and now the Xerox Alumni Association exists to sustain and value that spirit.

More recently, Xerox Alumni decided to emphasize capturing the historical significance and impact of Xerox Corporation. Our goal is to establish a repository of links to the greatness that was Xerox, as compelling as some of the most notable technology leading companies of today.

PURPOSE

Xerox Alumni Association has established as its mission to provide a forum and an archive of historical achievements as a way to remember the greatness of Xerox. Before there was Apple, Microsoft, and Google, there was Xerox. Many of XAA members built the Company into an icon of success in the 60's, 70's and 80's.

XAA is asking its members for feedback confirming the support these efforts to make it easier to reacquaint with old friends and colleagues, network and reminisce, and very importantly, to post and share documents, stories and artifacts about one of the great companies of the 20th century.
If you were employed by Xerox when the logo was still blue, when Xerox was still renowned for its technological expertise and when Xerox was a respected pioneer in the business world, then you should join XAA to reconnect and reminisce with your former friends and our days in the sun.
